About Dax O. Faubus

Dax Faubus founded the firm in 2002. During the course of his career he has tried many cases on behalf of his clients, obtaining successful results in jury trials, bench trial, and arbitrations alike. His diverse practice includes complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, fiduciary duty litigation, and personal injury. Dax has obtained more than $30 million prosecuting claims for his clients and has saved his clients many times more defending them. And when necessary he has successfully represented his clients in appellate courts.

Astutely understanding the needs of his clients and representing them with the singular goal of meeting those needs is the key to Dax's success as a trial lawyer. Representing clients throughout the State of Texas, Dax enjoys a reputation for efficient, professional, yet dogged attention to this clients' needs in all cases.

Dax began his career at Thompson & Knight, LLP a large international law firm based in Dallas, Texas. Dax received his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1998 from South Texas College of Law where he was a member of the South Texas Law Review and the school's famed advocacy program. Dax has consistently been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters Service and Published in Texas Monthly (an honor going to only the top 2.5% of up and coming Texas attorneys under the age of 40). Additionally, Dax has served as an adjunct professor at South Texas College of Law where he teaches trial advocacy skills. Dax also served as Chair of the Houston Bar Association Litigation Section.
